Day 1°

Genoa

morning Meeting at the port of Genoa, boarding the ferry, overnight by boat.

Day 2°

Palermo

from the ferry Landing in the late morning at the harbor in Palermo, transfer to camping accommodation of campers; in the afternoon begins the guided visit to the city of Palermo with the Capella Palatina Arab-Norman the years 1130-40 in sumptuous Palazzo dei Normanni, today the Sicilian Parliament and host a real Norman Chapel time King of Sicily. Return to the campsite and free evening.

Day °3

Palermo: Cappella Palatina in palazzo dei Normanni

At 10.00 o’clock resumes visit  and at 13.00 we’ll have lunch, visiting in the afternoon and return to free camping.

Day °4

Trapani

at 9.00 departure with the camper from the camp of Palermo Erice, destination for campers on the parking and sightseeing, in the late afternoon we will move near the saline of Trapani for the overnight, free evening.

Day °6

Trapani – Agrigento

at 9.00 departure from Trapani destination Valle dei Templi of Agrigento, stop for short visit en route to Marsala and Mazara del Vallo.
Late in the evening arrival at the campsite of Agrigento, accommodation of camper pitches and free evening.

Day °7

Agrigento

at 10.00 will start the visit to the famous archaeological site, the wizard and free part, just to give a chance to everyone to contemplate in absolute tranquility, to follow free evening.

Day °8

Ragusa

at 9.00 departure by camper from camp of Agrigento, Ragusa arrival destination in the baroque city of RVs in parking area, lunch and visit free, free evening.

Day 9°

Noto-Siracusa Ragusa: Island of Ortigia Siracusa

At 9.00 departure by camper from Syracuse, Ragusa will make a stop and visit, during the journey, a beautiful baroque city.
In the late afternoon arrival at the staging area in Syracuse, free evening.

Day °10

Syracuse

at 10.00 full day devoted to sightseeing, partly led and partly free. At 13.00 we’ll have lunch in a typical restaurant to taste the specialties of the area.
Return to the parking area and free evening.

Day 11°

Siracusa-Catania: Elephant’s Fountain in cathedral’s Square in Catania.

At 9.00 departure and arrival at campsite RV of Catania, arrangement of camper pitches and free lunch; at 14.00 o’clock excursion in bus to Taormina, visit and return to Catania, evening available for personal activities.

Day °12

Tour to Etna Park

starting at 10.00 camper from the destination camping rifugio Sapienza on Etna.
Once we arrived and parked the motorhome, we carry to the Summit of the volcano by Jeep (optional tour) and visit the crater of Etna.
At 16.00 return to camp, free evening for individual visits to the city.

Day °13

Catania-Salerno

boat transfer to Salerno, starting from the port of Salerno in camper to reach Pompeii where we will camp and have free evening.

Day °14

Pompeii, Guided tour

Start walking from the campsite at 9.30, meet with the local guide and visit the archaeological site of Pompeii, at 12.30 end tour and  free return.
In the afternoon optional visit to the Crater of Vesuvius: the first bus will take us to the station of the State Forestry Corps situated on the slopes of Vesuvius, by there we will depart on board of special off-road vehicles and arrive at about 400 meters from the crater and then walk along a walkway up pre-set at the top of the crater.
There we’ll meet the environmental guide that will make us go to the top of the crater of Vesuvius. After the guided tour return to camp in the late afternoon.

Day °15

Napoli

departure from the camp in the morning for the scheduled tour, Naples underground Naples.
Departure by Circumvesuviana, arrival to Napoli Centrale railway station and from there we’ll walk to piazza San Gaetano, where at 12.00 guided tour starts at Napoli Sotterranea.
About 13.30 we’ll end the visit to cellars and have lunch in a famous pizzeria to enjoy the true Neapolitan pizza. Continue to follow the walk through the beautiful and characteristic streets of Naples, via dei Tribunali, San Gregorio Armeno, Piazza Plebiscito, via Caracciolo etc.etc. and at 18.00 we will take the Circumvesuviana to return to camp.

Day °16

Capri

Excursion to Capri wil begin at 8.00.
Departure with the circumvesuviana to Sorrento destination and at 9.15 boarding on target Capri hydrofoil.
Arriving to the port of Capri we will ascend the famous funicular railway square and walk to see the faraglioni and the gardens of Hadrian. Lunch and free time till 17.00, when participants will have to find at the hydrofoils to embark back to camp.
Optional excursions to Capri: you can go to Anacapri, Marina Piccola, circumnavigating the island and see the Blue Grotta.

Day °17

Reggia of Caserta

at 10.00 departure from the campsite in Pompeii and arrival at the Reggia di Caserta, where we’ll park  in the parking-area; we will have the whole day to visit individually the Palace, the Gardens and the beautiful historic centre of Caserta, free evening.

Day °18

Abbey of Montecassino

at 10.00 departure from the parking-area of Caserta, destination the Abbey of Montecassino. We’ll park in front of the entrance of the Abbey and have free visit of the same, followed by free time till 16.00, when we’ll move, destination staging area in Rome, arriving in the late afternoon, arrangement of camper pitches and free evening.

Day °19

Rome

at 10:00 departure from the parking area in group with public transport and bus “Hop-on-Hop-off” to visit Rome starting from Ancient Appia.
Right at the entrance of the historic, imposing, broad and straight for 15 km to Rome, the Catacombs of St. Callixtus, the small church of “Quo Vadis?”, we’ll continue on Ancient Appia Road and visit the tomb of Cecilia Metella and the circus of Maxentius and we take Via Porta di Saint Sebastiano.
After the guided tour of the stretch of the Ancient Appia we’ll return to Rome by bus “Hop-on-Hop-off” and free return to the staging area.

Day °20

Rome

starting at 10 o’clock by public transport destination San Pietro, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel richly decorated with frescoes by Michelangeolo Buanarroti. After we will visit Castel Saint Angelo.
At 13.00 we’ll have free lunch and in the afternoon we’ll continue the free tour of the city, Plaza of Spain, Via Condotti, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, Altare della Patria, Fori Imperiali and Colosseum, free return to the staging area.

Day °21 

Rome-Orvieto

at 10.00 departure from Rome in camper and arrival at the parking area, free lunch and free afternoon to visit the city, free evening.

Day 22°

Siena

at 9.00 departure from Orvieto, Siena, destination accommodation of campers, camp and the rest of the day available to visit the city individually.

Day °23

Monteriggioni

at 10.00 departure by camper from Siena Monteriggioni arrangement of RVs in parking area, walk all together on the via Francigena (about 4 km. optional), visit the fortress of Monteriggioni, free evening.

Day °24

Florence

about 11.00 arrival at the campsite in Florence, free lunch, in the afternoon guided tour of the city, free return to the campsite and free evening.

Day °25

Florence

free morning for personal activities in Florence and at 15.00 transfer by bus from the campsite to the Castello di Poppiano Guicciardini and showdown for a guided tour of wine cellars, with explanations of the methods of vinification of wines. In the evening return to camp by bus, followed by free time …

The guided tour includes the following:
Vinification cellar.Maturing cellar.Castle Crusher.Passitoi for the Vinsanto.Vinsantaia in Seen Tower.Tasting of 3 wines and Extra Virgin olive oil, with Salami, cheese and typical local bread.

Day °26

Pisa

in the morning transfer from camping in Florence to Pisa, early in the afternoon guided tour to the city of the leaning tower, return to the campsite and free evening.

Day °27

Lucca

arrival in the morning in the parking area at Lucca from Pisa.
At 16.00 we’ll take a guided tour of the city, historical explanation of the via Francigena and walk on the same crossing of Lucca up outside the walls.
